The Boyle County Rebels (8-0) faced the Lexington Catholic Knights (5-3) for the second time in 2020, but this time both teams were playing for their season. The 49-41 final score however was a much closer call than the regular season had to offer, when the Rebels defeated the Knights 40-0.
Justin Haddix, Head Coach of the Boyle County Rebels, admits the Rebels will be facing every team’s best for the remainder of the season, as the playoffs mean win or go home.
“We knew it was going to be a battle and Catholic has improved from the previous game. They are well coached and when everything is on the line you are going to get that team’s best shot,” said Haddix.
