Glenda A Claunch, 77, of Harrodsburg, died Saturday, Sept. 30, 2023, at her home.  Born Sept. 30, 2023, in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Robert H. and Isa Vena (VanArsdall) League. She was a retired Trim Masters Inc. employee and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.

Janice Irene Chapman, 82, of Harrodsburg, died Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2023, at her home.  Born Dec. 21, 1940, in Harrodsburg, she was the daughter of the late George Floyd Clark and Mary Emaline Harris Long.  She was a retired medical transcriptionist from Bluegrass Hematology Oncology and was a Christian.

Esther Payne VanArsdall, 88, widow of J.W. VanArsdall, died Friday, Sept. 22, 2023, at her residence. Born May 1, 1935 in Crab Orchard, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Shipton Payne and Pearl Wren Payne. She was retired from ATR Manufacturing and was a member of Hedgeville Baptist Church.

Walter Shearer, 73, husband of Helen Sue Boswell Shearer, died Thursday, Sept. 21, 2023.  Born April 16, 1950, in Boyle County, he was the son of the late Walter Shearer Sr. and Sara Robinson Shearer.  He was a self employed contractor and builder.
