Robert Wade

Robert “Bobby” Wade Huffman, 83, of Salvisa, died Saturday, May 23, 2026, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.

Born July 17, 1942, in Lebanon, he was the son of  the late James H. and Ola Mae (Rinehart) Huffman.

He was a 1960 graduate of Mercer County  High School, retired as a public servant from the Commonwealth of Kentucky, was a lifetime member of Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and Anderson County Sportsman Club and was a Kentucky Colonel.

Survivors include: one son, Keith (Angie) Huffman of Harrodsburg; one daughter, Kimberly Huffman of Salvisa; one brother, Paul Huffman; one brother-in-law, Orban Mayes of Harrodsburg; the mother of his children, Bonnie C. Wyrick of Salvisa; and two nephews.

Funeral services were held Thursday, May 28, at  Ransdell Funeral Chapel, with Rocky and Denise Wallace officiating.
