Darrell Bottoms
Darrell Glenn Bottoms, 87, of Crab Orchard, died Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the Maplewood Health & Rehabilitation in Lancaster.
Born Nov. 17, 1938, in Harrodsburg, he was the son of the late William Green Taylor Bottoms and Mary Frances (Bottoms) Bottoms.
Darrell was a Trustee at Deep Creek Baptist Church and now a member at Mt. Pleasant Church, was a mechanic for Southern States and General Electric and was a self-employed milk and water hauler.
Survivors include: two daughters, Twana Lane (Terry) Dean of Harrodsburg and Deena (Charles) Miller of Crab Orchard; two sons, Darrell (Karen) Bottoms and Steven Bottoms both of Harrodsburg; one sister, Wandola (Butch) Cheatham of Harrodsburg; one brother, Wathan (Carolyn) Bottoms of Lancaster; 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by five brothers J.T. Bottoms, Robert Bottoms, Walter Bottoms, William “Billy” Bottoms and Neil Bottoms and one sister, Barbara Steele.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 21, at Sims Funeral Services with Bro. Nelson Reynolds and Bro. Derek Baker officiating. Burial was in the Deep Creek Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jesse Dean, Tim LaDone, Sean Bottoms, Hunter Dean, Sam Dean and Dallas Arnold.
