Titans Softball Review: A Strong Foundation For Next Season

The Mercer County Titans softball team wrapped up their 2026 season in the first round of the 12th Region tournament, falling 5-6 to the Southwestern Warriors. Mercer finished the season 14-14 and was the 46th District runner-up. The Titans have advanced to the region tournament in all three years under Head Coach Darren Ransdell.
The Titans graduated four seniors, including Mia Floro, Ella Davis, Emory Thompson and Jayla Sanders. Floro capped off her final season with 21 hits, five runs and 18 RBI’s while playing catcher. Thompson had 24 hits, scored 10 runs and had 18 RBIs while playing third base. Davis scored 19 runs in her senior season and pitched 87 innings for Mercer, racking up 35 strikeouts. Sanders spent time in the outfield and scored six runs for the Titans. Coach Ransdell complimented his seniors’ work ethic and leadership.
