The biggest live entertainment series in Mercer County returns Friday, April 17.
Friday Nights on Main brings live music, local flavor and family-friendly fun to downtown Harrodsburg one Friday each month from April through August. The series culminates in September with Oktoberfest.
Hosted at Olde Town Park by the Harrodsburg-Mercer County Tourist Commission, the series is sponsored by Community Trust Bank. Each event is intended to be a showcase of everything downtown Harrodsburg has to offer, from music to food to shopping.
Attendees can stroll along Main Street, enjoy an evening of music, and explore downtown shops and restaurants that stay open late for the occasion.
“Friday Nights on Main has become a staple event that highlights what makes Harrodsburg unique—its welcoming atmosphere, rich history and strong sense of community,” said Kaitlyn Harder, events director for the Harrodsburg Mercer County Tourist Commission. “The series not only provides a free and accessible night out for families, but also supports local businesses and artists by giving them a platform to connect with the public.”
The events typically run from 6 to 10 p.m., offering a relaxed, festival-like setting in the historic downtown district. Whether attendees come for the music, food or to gather with friends and neighbors, Friday Nights on Main promises something for everyone.
With five months of festivities planned, the tourist commission encourages the community to mark their calendars and make Friday Nights on Main a part of their summer tradition.
