Harrodsburg City Commission Moves Forward With Repealing Park Board Ordinance

At the Tuesday, May 26, Harrodsburg City Commission meeting, commissioners gave first reading to an ordinance repeing the Anderson Dean Park Board, an ordinance they had tabled at their previous meeting. The Mercer County Fiscal Court gave first reading at its May 12 meeting. With both bodies giving first reading, the Harrodsburg-Mercer County Tourist Commission called a special meeting on Friday, May 29, to finalize the interlocal agreement that will allow that board to take over operations of the park starting Oct. 1.
