New Dixville Road Closure Extended Until Friday, June 12, KYTC Says

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) is advising motorists the road closure on New Dixville Road (KY 1941) has been extended to Friday, June 12. The roadway will be continue to be closed between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. daily.
The previously scheduled completion of the road closure was Friday, May 15.
On May 5, KYTC issued an advisory about the closure on New Dixville Road for a road slide repair between mile points 3.0 and 4.0.
Motorists should seek alternate routes during closure hours. Alternate routes include KY 152, KY 422, KY 1920 and U.S. 68.
Motorists are advised to use caution and watch for signage and personnel in the area.
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
