Tony Hayden

Cleveland Anthony “Tony” Hayden, 68, died Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2026, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.

Born, April 1, 1957,  he was the son of   Barbara Anne Bruner Hayden and Grover Cleveland Hayden.

He was a 1975 graduate of Harrodsburg High School and worked in construction building houses.

Survivors include: two sisters, Sandra (Pagie) Lewis of Harrodsburg and Debbie Hayden of Danville; one nephew, David Tingle, one great-niece; great-great-niece and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Jan. 28, at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Greg Warren officiating.  Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Doug Robinson, Steve Watts, Ronnie Lyons, Steve Hayden, Kenny Sussman and Derek Sussman.  Honorary pallbearers were Ricky Tate, Art Botner, Harriet Ruby, Jason Carey, Ed Lay, Paul Moore, David Dunn, Tonya Horn, Paula Bruner, Sandy Hogue and other cousins.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Mercer Humane Society, 165 Eminence Avenue, Harrodsburg, KY  40330.
