Danny Gale Steele, 78, husband of Patsy (Engle) Steele, of Danville, died Sunday, Jan. 25, 2026, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.
Born April 22, 1947, in Harrodsburg, he was the son of the late Henry C. and Marie (Montgomery) Steele Sr.
He was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church in Danville and was a retired manufacturing manager from Square D.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include: four sons, Barry (Kimberly) Steele of Harrodsburg, Brad (Laura) Steele, Randy (Melissa) Steele and Ronnie (Tiffany) Steele all of Danville; three sisters, Bonnie Teater, Gladys Lozier and Mary Evelyn Sadler; one brother, Billy Steele; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Henry “Junior” Steele and George Steele.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 3, at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, with Tim Mathis officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Visitation Monday, Feb. 2, from 5-8 p.m.
