Bonnie Carey

Bonnie M. Carey, 88, of Harrodsburg, widow of Robert Leon Carey, died Monday, Aug. 11, 2025, at her residence.

Born Feb. 17, 1937, in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late George Thomas and Mary Ellen (Sanders) Goodlett.

She retired from Whirlpool Manufacturing, was a long time care giver and member of the Fellowship Baptist Church.

Survivors include: one daughter, Rita Merideth of Harrodsburg; two sons, Tony Carey and Terry Carey of Harrodsburg; one sister, Judy (Arthur) Pennington of Middletown, Ohio; one brother,  Danny Goodlett of Marion County; 10 grandchildren and  11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are today, Thursday, Aug. 14, at 2 p.m., at Ransdell Funeral Chapel with Hillary Claypool officiating.  Burial is in Spring Hill Cemetery.

Visitation 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral chapel.

Pallbearers are Brandin Carey, Chris Perkins, Josh Carey, Aaron Ross, Jim Merideth, Thomas Merideth, Adam Carey and Kage Perkins. 

Memorial contributions are suggested to the  charity of ones choice.
