Arnold Moon
Bro. Arnold Glaston Moon, 93 of Erlanger, died Thursday, June 19, 2025, at the Saint Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood.
Born March 18, 1932, in Byrdstown, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Ethel Matthews and George W. Moon.
He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War, served as pastor for 12 different churches and was a missionary for the Southern Baptist Home Mission Board.
Survivors in addition to his wife include: three sons, Leon Moon, Larry (Brenda) Moon and Eddie (Michelle Norman) Moon; two daughters, Sue (Greg) Puckett and Kim Mikolajczyk; nine grandchildren; one step-grandchild; eight great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 17 brothers and sisters and one great-grandson.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 24, at the at Cecilia Baptist Church, in Cecelia with Bro. Tracy Moon and Bro. Glen Cornett officiating. Burial was in Blue Ball Baptist Church Cemetery in Elizabethtown.
