Mercer County soccer (0-3) had a tough start to the season last Tuesday, Aug. 13, when they failed to score in a 2-0 loss to the Danville Admirals (1-1). The Titan defense played a flawless game outside of two small but crucial mistakes that led to two Admiral scoring opportunities. Build up play was leaps and bounds above what the Titans showcased last year, and they have improved physically, however, after 80 minutes of play it seemed evident that the Titans still struggled to execute in the final third.

Their most recent game on Saturday, Aug. 17, against Pulaski County, was overshadowed by some dramatic and physical events that played out toward the end of the contest.
