Betty Cummins

Betty M. Cummins, 89, widow of Billy Cummins, died Friday, July 5, 2024, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville. Born May 23, 1935, in Perryville, she was the daughter of the late Prentice and Irene Hays Shewmaker. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and a retired Cricketeer employee. Survivors include: one son, Robert Glenn (Anola) Roney, of Somerset; one daughter, Sandra Dee Lowery, of Harrodsburg; four grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and her fiancé, David Cannada. She was preceded by two brothers, Prentice D. “Woe” Shewmaker and Talmadge Glenn “Tuck” Shewmaker.
