Bessie Votaw

Bessie Mae Votaw, 86, of Harrodsburg, widow of Hershel, died Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at the Harrodsburg Health Care Center.  

Born June 10, 1934, in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert C. and the late Mae (Hart) Smith. 

She worked for Corning Glass and the Mercer County School System, and was a member of The Carpenter’s Christian Church.

Survivors include: one son, Larry (Lisa) Votaw, of  Harrodsburg; one daughter-in-law, Debbie Votaw, of Harrodsburg and two grandchildren.
