Two events scheduled for Black History Month have been cancelled. The Heritage Prayer Breakfast at Centennial Baptist Church scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 1, and the Gala scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 29, have both been cancelled, according to Lolita Short. “The committee plans to re-examine the organization of both events and bring them back in 2021,” Short said.
Otherwise, it’s another busy week here in Mercer County. Recruit Night for Mercer Football happens on Friday, Jan. 31, and the Shaker Dinner Theater happens on Saturday, Feb. 1.
