Second Project In Two Months To Face Widespread Opposition

The Mercer County Joint Planning and Zoning Commission failed to either approve or deny a map amendment that would allow a 9,100 square foot Dollar General store to be built at the intersection of Ashley Camp and Chimney Rock Roads. The property, which is near Herrington Lake, is owned by Paul and Linda Barnes.
