James Yost

James “Jim” Meryl Yost, of Mercer County, husband of Hazel Pearl Smith Yost, died Sept. 22, 2018.

Born Dec. 14, 1934, in Hagans, West Virginia, he was the son of the late James Meryl Yost Sr. and Thelma Pearl Armstrong Yost.

He served in the United States Army and worked for the Monongalia County Board of Education.
