Willa Mae Hough

Willa Mae Hough, 98, widow of Ralph Eugene Hough, died Monday, March 19, 2018 at Ephraim McDowell James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital in Harrodsburg.  Born October 30, 1919 in Burgin, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Ethel Baker Merriman.  She was a Registered Nurse Anesthetist having worked at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center and also served as a Registered Nurse at both Kentucky State Hospital and Danville Youth Development Center where she retired.

She was a member of the Bethel #1 Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she attended the Adult Sunday School Class.  She served as President of Mercer County Church Women United and taught literacy programs at Harrodsburg High School.
