Peavler signs with Lindsey Wilson College

The 2014-15 Harrodsburg Herald Athlete of the Year, Layne Peavler, signed to played collegiate baseball at Lindsey Wilson College Tuesday, July 21.
Peavler, who was the 12th Region Player of the Year, said he had a hard time deciding where he wanted to spend the next four years of his life.
“I made my decision to go to Lindsey about a week or two ago. I had a tough decision choosing between Lindsey, Berea, St. Catharine’s and the University of the Cumberlands,” said Peavler.
Lindsey Wilson went 41-19 in 2015 and advanced to the NAIA World Series. They also only graduated five seniors and return a stacked junior class.
