Bulldogs and Titans track compete at Breast Cancer Awareness Meet

The Burgin and Mercer County track and field teams competed at the Breast Cancer Awareness Meet held at Boyle County High School on Tuesday, April 21.
The Mercer County boys finished third overall at the meet, while the Burgin boys placed eighth.
The Lady Bulldogs finished sixth, while the Lady Titans finished ninth.
Listed below are the individual results with event name, place finished, athlete’s name, school and time.
Girls 4×800 Meter Relay:
3rd- Hailey Stinnett, Olivia Mobley, Cora Teets, Silja Svendsen (Mercer County), 11:47.70.
Boys 4×800 Meter Relay: 1st – Austin Sparrow, Lex Burkhead, Chase Edwards, Drew Angel (M), 8:51.07; 4th- Wesley Qualls, Wesley Stewart, Michael McKenzie, Trevar Lay (Burgin), 10:06.06.
