Early Lead Not Enough for Burgin

Despite taking a 1-0 lead after the opening inning, the Lady Bulldog’s softball team was unable to get a win Monday night against the Lady Eagles of Lexington Christian Academy (LCA) (11-12).

A leadoff triple by Kae-Lynn Bradshaw resulted in the one run lead after the first inning. Bradshaw was driven in on a sacrifice pop fly by Grace Osbourn.
