Titans Track Take Second
The Mercer County Titans boy’s track team came up short of claiming top honors Friday at the Boyle County Invitational meet. The Titans scored 105 points, good enough for second place behind first place Boyle County who scored 156 points. Anderson County rounded out the top three with 102.50 points.
The Lady Titans finished just outside the top five at Friday’s meet coming in sixth place with 40 points. Boyle County also won the girls meet with 194 total points. Second place went to Russell County with 96 points followed by Casey Conty in third place with 92 points. Southwestern and Corbin rounded out the top five with 76 and 72 points respectively.
