Rob Langford

Rob E. Langford, 36, of Danville, died Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012, at the Markey Cancer Center at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. 

Born Sept. 16, 1975 in Danville, he was the son of Steve and Beverly Langford of Danville and Pam Stagg of Garrard County.  He was a 1994 graduate of Danville High School where he played on two state football championship teams. He worked as a journey lineman for Kentucky Utilities in Somerset. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors in addition to his parents include two daughters, McKenzie Anne Langford and Kadee Beth Langford and one son, Kyle Robert Langford, all of Danville; his paternal grandparents, Bob and Mary Langford of Harrodsburg; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.  

He was preceded in death by a grandmother, Mae Adams, and a grandfather, Bill Eugene Deatherage.
