David Nugen

David Nugen, 78, of Harrodsburg, husband of Rose Mary Nugen, died Sunday, April 1, 2012 at his residence.

Born Sept. 14, 1933 in Beckley W.V., he was the son of the late Everett and Alma Ennis Nugen. He served during the Korean War in the US Army and was a US Corp of Engineers Geologist for 42 years. 

Survivors in addition to his wife include two daughters, Elizabeth (Joe) Cheatham of Harrodsburg and Lynn Slugantz of Kansas City, Mo.; one sister, Betty Cutlip of Radford, Va. and one brother Everett Nugen of Columbus, Ohio; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
