Morgan Wheeler

Morgan Wheeler, 85, of Harrodsburg, husband of Ida Jean Beeves Wheeler, died Thursday, March 1, 2012. 

Born Feb. 21, 1927 in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Ben C. and Molly Lands Wheeler.  He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II, was a retired maintenance supervisor at ATR, and was a member of the Cornishville Christian Church where he served as a deacon.  He was one of the first full-time fireman for the City of Harrodsburg and a former volunteer fireman. 

Survivors in addition to his wife include two sons, Terry (Celia) Wheeler of Burgin and George (Susan) Wheeler of Harrodsburg; one daughter, Pamela Wheeler of Harrodsburg; two brothers, James (Lethia) Wheeler of Florence and Robert Wheeler of Cold Spring, seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
