It’s a busy week for the Harrodsburg-Mercer County Tourist Commission with Friday Night On Main returning to Olde Town Park on Friday, July 10, with music by Nick and Tony at 6 p.m. and Hug It Out at 8 p.m. There will also be food, shopping and Inflatables by Party On Air from 5 to 10 p.m.

The tourist commission will also host the second annual Fun and Sun Fest at Anderson-Dean Community Park starting at 3 p.m. on Friday, July 17. They’re billing it as Central Kentucky’s premier inflatable event, with inflatables, food trucks, a live DJ, foam party, vendors and more.

And fair time is almost here, with the Truck and Tractor Pulls at the Stable at Mercer County Fairgrounds also on Friday, July 17. For details, check the listing below. The high-powered fun starts at 7 p.m.

Shaker Village is home to one of Kentucky’s largest and most accessible collections of historic, dry stacked stone fences. Join the Drystone Conservancy for this two-day workshop to learn how to care for and repair these remarkable pieces of Kentucky culture.
