GARY DEVINE

Gary Ernest Devine, 71, of Harrodsburg, husband of Linda Lanum Devine, died Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at his home.

Born Sept. 10, 1954, in Danville, he was the son of the late Garfield and Chloe (Evans) Devine.

He was co-owner and operator of SDS Employment Service in Danville and enjoyed deer hunting and playing golf.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include: one son, John Sharp Devine of Harrodsburg; four grandchildren, Tyler Shannon Devine, Jaclyn Rae Devine, John Sharp Devine Jr. and Jack Devine; one great-grandchild, Evie Devine; two sisters, Patti Devine Bryant of Alabama and Cindy Devine of Harrodsburg; two brothers, Pete (Cheryl) Kramer of Idaho and Scott Devine of Lexington; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one son, Clay Shannon Devine.

Funeral services were held Monday, June 22, with Brother Phil Yates officiating at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery.
