Stanley Sallee

Stanley Joe Jennings Sallee, 76, of Harrodsburg, husband of Mildred Bernard Sallee, died Saturday, June 13, 2026, at the Danville Health and Rehab Center of Danville.

Born July 5, 1949, in Harrodsburg, he was the son of the late Con and Lena Mae (Roberts) Sallee.

He was a heavy equipment operator from Mercer Stone Company and was also a member of the Berea Christian Church.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include: two daughters, Anita Mae Sallee and Kelly (Steve) Stackenwait both of Harrodsburg;  one sister, Billie Jo Sullivan of Harrodsburg; four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by four brothers, Bobby, Donnie, James and Winford Lee James.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Friday, June 19, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, with Derek Baker and Tim Darland officiating.

Visitation today, Thursday, June 18, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral chapel.

Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Roney, Gary Rhodes, Gary Tatum, Clark Sims, Gentry Whited, Booger Taylor, Dakota and Ryker Moore, Erik Sims, Brandon Moore, Troy Moore, Daryl Russell and special caregivers, Tim Darland Cheyenne Jeffries, Malia Devito, Lucy Sebastian and Jessica Carter.
