Kenneth Moore

Kenneth A. “Kenny” Moore, 77, husband of Mildred Stine Moore, died Saturday, Nov. 30, 2024, at his home.

Born Oct. 7, 1947, in Boyle County, he was the son of the late Charlie and Cora Lamb Moore.

He retired as a stacker operator at Florida Tile and was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include: one daughter, Wanda (Chris) Darland of Harrodsburg; two sons, Kenny Allen (Mary) Moore of Mercer County and Timmy (Amy) Moore of Frankfort; one sister, Barbara Sayre of Lawrenceburg; five grandchildren; one great-grandson; and his loving dogs, Winnie and Buddy.

He was preceded in death by six brothers, Buddy, Charles, Garness, Raymond, Robbie and Billy Moore; and four sisters, Ruby Cox, Anna Blackwell, Ellen Drury and Joyce Lewis.

Funeral services are 2 p.m. today, Thursday, Dec. 5, at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Bro. Stephen Brogli and Bro. Chris Darland officiating. Burial is in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Joshua Moore, Jeffrey Drury, Carl Drury, Eddie Moore, Adam Current and John Humphrey. Honorary pallbearers are Josie Darland, Sara Droege, Troy Moore, Paul Paonessa and Michael Phillips.

Visitation 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
