Lawrence Molnar

Lawrence John “Larry” Molnar, 81, of Harrodsburg, died Friday, June 5, 2026, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.

Born Sept. 6, 1944, in Scranton, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Frank and Elenore (Pocius) Molnar.

He was a retired electrical technician from ATR Manufacturing, was a member and minister for the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses specializing in prison ministry and served his country in the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors include: three daughters, Melissa Martina of Harrodsburg, Christina Marie Gilbert of Springboro, Ohio, and Rebecca Abner of Berea; one son, Larry John Molnar of Virginia; one brother, Bernie Molnar; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by four siblings, Francis, Joe, Pat and Ann Marie.

Cremation was chosen and there are no services at this time.
