Mercer Boys Earn Win Over Region Foe Golden Lions

The Mercer County Titans baseball team (14-11) picked up a 5-1 regional win over the Garrard Golden Lions (9-15) on Monday, May 4.
Senior Ayden Stephens pitched the whole game for the Titans, striking out eight batters and giving up five hits. He was also the Titans’ best hitter, going three for three at bat. Senior Noah Worthington and junior Caden Brogli each had two hits and two runs batted in to help Mercer end its three-game losing streak.
