The annual celebration of St. Patrick’s Day spirit returns to downtown Harrodsburg on Saturday, March 14, 2026, as the 4th Annual Shamrock Shuffle takes over Main Street with a full day of fun and festivities. So don your best green and channel your inner leprechaun at this year’s event sponsored by the Harrodsburg-Mercer County Tourist Commission.
“This is our fourth year bringing the Shamrock Shuffle to Harrodsburg, and it’s exciting to see how much it has grown each year,” said Daarik Gray, executive director of the Harrodsburg-Mercer County Tourist Commission.
“What started as a fun way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day has turned into a strong boost for our local restaurants, bars, and overall economy,” Gray said. “We’re hopeful this year brings our biggest turnout yet and continues expanding that impact.”
You can also win prizes at the fourth annual Shamrock Shuffle. Visit six of the eight participating businesses for a chance to win a gift basket valued at over $500. The first 10 visitors at each location will receive a free commemorative T-shirt.
There will also be drink and food specials at each location as well as live music at select locations. Participants in the Shamrock Shuffle must be 21 years or older to participate and do not have to purchase alcoholic beverages to win.
For those who choose to partake, Central Kentucky Tours will be available to transport you to the different locations.
“We encourage everyone to come out and be part of it. You don’t have to purchase anything to participate or to be eligible for the giveaway, valued at over $500 with gift cards to each participating location and more,” said Gray. “It’s going to be a fun Saturday in Harrodsburg, so grab your friends and don’t forget to wear your green!”
