Betty Turner

Betty Faye (Mize) Turner, 82, of Harrodsburg, widow of John Perry Turner, died Sunday, Jan. 25, 2026, at the Harrodsburg Health Care Center in Harrodsburg.

Born Feb. 6, 1943, in Somerset, she was the daughter of the late George Washington and Nancy Elizabeth (Price) Mize.

She worked in the school cafeteria for the Magnolia Indiana School District in Magnolia, Texas and was a member of the Reid’s Prairie Baptist Church in Waller, Texas.

Survivors include: two daughters, Temika Turner and Pamela Pate both of Prattville, Ala. and two grandchildren.

The family will have a private gathering at a later date.
