Weekender Oct. 16—24: Wicked Wines, Halloween At Cummins Ferry And A Whole Lot More

Spook season is here. Wicked Wines and High Spirits Festival at the Lodge at Logan Vineyards Winery happens Saturday, Oct. 18, starting at noon. In addition to wine tastings and Halloween-themed cocktails, there will be live music by Good Thang, Kyra Waits, Brad Harding and Five Below Band. Food trucks include the Swinery, Blessing Mobile Food Service and Casa Grande. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 on the day of the event. Visitors must be 21 and up to consume alcohol.

Both local pumpkin patches are open. Daynabrook Farms and Greenhouse (135 Dunn Lane) is open Mondays through Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 6 p.m. The cost is $15 per person aged three and up. Admission includes: pedal cars, playgrounds, inflatables, small zip line, corn maze, wagon ride, petting zoo, access to the covered pavilion and the super slide. Everyone gets a pumpkin to take home. Concessions, tower zipline, greenhouse plants, and additional pumpkins are available at additional cost. Groups of 15 or more can save $3 per person on general admission. Devine’s Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch (623 Talmage Mayo Road) is open Fridays from 6 to 10 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays from 1 to 5 p.m. Admission is $14 for age 13 and up, $12 for ages three to 12 and free for children ages two and younger. Admission includes a free pumpkin, the 10 acre corn maze, wagon rides, feedlot challenge, duck races, human hamster wheels, the hay maze, tube swings, giant slide, corn crib, tire mountain, bonfire with roasted marshmallows, critter petting, zip track, corn hopper, barnyard ball, spider web, board games and giant swing. The zip line racer is $10 extra. A season pass for age 13 and up is $42 and $35 for ages three to 12.
