Harrodsburg is getting closer to getting a Tractor Supply Company store. At their regular matting on Monday, Aug. 11, the Harrodsburg City Commission approved rezoning the property located at 905 North College Street from I-2 (industrial) to B-2 (business). The developers also need approval from the state for enhancing the existing entrance.

Last month, the Harrodsburg-Mercer County Joint Planning and Zoning Commission approved a site plan submitted by Greg Glaser P.E. and GBT Realty to build a Tractor Supply Company at that location. The 3.4 acre property is owned by Bluegrass Industrial Warehousing LLC.

Glaser told the Harrodsburg Herald construction of the 20,000 square foot store could begin in the fall, in either October or November, with the store opening in spring 2026.

On Monday, the city commission also approved changing the southern property lines of English Avenue and Daviess Street from I-1 (industrial) to R-2 (residential). The property is being cleared out to put in a housing development, city officials say.
