The 41st season of Picnic in the Park at Old Fort Harrod State Park—Mercer County’s oldest live entertainment series—begins with magician Dave Cottrell on Friday, June 6, at noon under the Osage orange tree. The series will run every Friday at noon through the end of July.
The big event this week is the 400 Mile Yard Sale, which begins Thursday, June 5, and runs through Sunday, June 8. While the yard sale is centered on U.S. 68, there will be sales all over Harrodsburg and Mercer County, so if you’re out and about this weekend, keep an eye out for bargain hunters.
