Police Do Not Suspect Foul Play In Weekend Death

The Harrodsburg Police Department is still investigating a death that happened this weekend.
Chief Scott Elder said investigators do not suspect foul play.
The HPD announced the investigation on Facebook on Sunday, March 2.
Elder said the deceased was discovered by a passerby in the area of Chiles Street and Lexington Street. Elder said first responders were called to the scene.
“The individual had already passed,” Elder said.
The HPD is waiting on results from the autopsy, including a toxicology report.
“We’re trying to determine if it was medical or not,” Elder said.
The HPD is not releasing the decedant’s identity until the next of kin have been identified and informed.
