Branda Prather

Brenda Sue Prather, 79, of Harrodsburg, died Sunday, Jan. 12, 2025, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.

Born June 24, 1945, in Harrodsburg, she was the daughter of Annell Warner Claunch and the late Willie A. Claunch.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Kirkwood Baptist Church.

Survivors in addition to her mother include: one daughter, Cheryl (Jeff) Young of Salvisa; one brother, Darrell (Cindy) Claunch; two grandchildren, Jordan (Spencer) Warner and Braden (Caleb) Lawson; and three great-grandchildren, Brooks Kain Warner; Brent Kurtis Warner and Hayden Ross Lawson.

She was preceded in death by one son, Gaylon Curt Prather, and one brother, Gaylon Claunch.

Funeral services were held Friday, Jan. 17, at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, with Tony Thomspon officiating. A private burial was held in the Spring Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Spencer Warner, Caleb Lawson, Trenton Claunch, Travis Claunch, Michael Parker and Joe Marshall Warner.
