Harrodsburg Family Medical Center will reopen Monday, June 20, with Lindsey Dockemeyer, FNP-C, a board-certified as a family nurse practitioner through American Academy Of Nurse Practitioners. She will be providing primary care services and her scope of practice includes treating chronic and acute illnesses with a focus on personal wellness. She also has a special interest in the treatment of vascular conditions.
Dockemeyer received an undergraduate degree in business/marketing from Eastern Illinois University and then earned a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing in Illinois. She lives with her husband and their two children. The family has recently relocated from Chicago and are excited to explore the area and get to know the community. In her free time, Dockemeyer likes to spend time outdoors, explore new local restaurants and shops and do home renovations.
Harrodsburg Family Medical Center is located at 1509 Louisville Road, at the entrance to Anderson-Dean Community Park. The medical center will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Dockemeyer is accepting new patients and appointments may be scheduled now by calling 859-734-5770.
