James Patterson

James Edward Patterson, 80, of Harrodsburg, died Thursday, Oct. 8, 2020, at the Willows – Harrodsburg. 

Born June 30, 1940, in Mercer County, he was the son of the late David Houston Patterson Sr. and Vera Mae (Kurtz) Patterson, of Harrodbsurg.

 He was a US Army veteran and a retired industrial electrician for Rockwell Company.

Survivors, in addition to his mother, include: one sister, Patricia (Garnett) Clark of Cecilia; sister-in-law, Pat Patterson, of Harrodsburg and  several nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by one brother, David Houston Patterson Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 20, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel with John David Lane officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery in Salvisa.

Pallbearers will be  David S. Patterson, Dwayne and Ronald Clark, Jimmy Joe Drakeford, Joe, Dustin and Josh Wilson, Tyler Horn and Austin Elliott.
