Flossie Cinnamon
Flossie Lee Freeman Cinnamon, 100, of Harrodsburg, widow of William Bernice “Buck” Cinnamon, died Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2020, at her home.
Born April 7, 1920, in Harrodsburg, she was the daughter of the late J.T. and Ruth Lee (Dean) Freeman.
She attended Rose Hill School, was a homemaker and was a member of the Harrodsburg Church of Christ.
Survivors include: two daughters, Barbara Jean (the late Lewis) Gash of Harrodsburg and Mary Ruth (Bob) Epple of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; three sisters, Elizabeth Ellis of Harrodsburg, Betty (Glendon) Demaree of Lawrenceburg and Nellie (Charles) Anness of Nicholasville; one brother, Jack (Carole Anne) Freeman of Harrodsburg; five grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Raymond Freeman, Thomas Freeman and James Freeman and one sister, Frances Stocker.
Funeral services were held Friday, Oct. 16, at Sims Funeral Services with Keith Greer officiating. Burial was in Ebenezer Church Cemetery in Salvisa.
Pallbearers were Donnie Pinkston, Buddy Shirley, Buddy Steele, Genie Sims, Stanley Tatum and Chris Clark. Honorary pallbearers were Bruce Parrott, Ron Leasure, Bob Bishop, Donnie Coyle, Bill Releford, Carroll Semones, David Noel, Lonny Christopher and Isaac Colvin.
