Joan Brookes-Smith, 101, of Harrodsburg, died Thursday, June 4, 2020, at the Landmark Center in Lancaster.

Born, June 30, 1918, in Stafford, England, she was the daughter of the late Reginald Herbert and Susannah Elizabeth (Leese) Smith.

She was a retired Kentucky state government employee, and a member of St. Phillips Episcopal Church and the American Humane Society.
