John Hughes (J.H.) Whitenack Jr, widower of Rosalyn Gritton Whitenack, died Friday, May 8, 2020, at the Veteran’s Hospital in Lexington.

Born Oct. 24, 1926, he was the son of the late John Hughes Whitenack Sr. and Grace Chilton Whitenack.

He was a US Navy veteran of World War II, was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church, a member of the VFW and the American Legion.
