Roberta Lay

Roberta Lee Peavler Lay, 93, of Harrodsburg, widow of William Paul Lay, died on Friday, March 1, 2019 at Parkview Manor in Danville.

Born Feb. 5, 1926, in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Mattie Lowry Peavler.

She attended Kentucky Business College, was a clerk for the Gem Store and Joe Russell’s Drug Stores in Harrodsburg and for Spoonamore Drug in Danville and was a member of the Cornishville Christian Church and attended the Magnolia Street Christian Church.
