Morgan French

Morgan French, 92, formerly of Mercer County,  died Friday, Feb. 24, 2012  in Plano, Texas. 

Born Aug. 21, 1919 in Perryville, he was the son of the late Clifton and Mary Alice French and the widower of Maxine French. His family worked on various farms around Harrodsburg, in the 1920s and 1930s. He was an Army veteran and the last living survivor of the Bataan Death March. He was a member of the Vine Grove Baptist Church.

He is survived by two sons, Morgan (Mary Jane) French of Houston, Texas and Stewart (Anne) French of Dallas, Texas and two grandchildren.
