James David “Jimmy” Walters, 76, died Friday, Oct. 3, 2014, at his home in Mechanicsville, Virg. Born Feb. 19, 1938, in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Clyde and Beatrice Dennis Walters. He attended the University of Kentucky, served in the United State Marine Corps and was a retired pipefitter.

Emily Patterson, 92, of Harrodsburg, widow of James C. Patterson, died Sunday, Oct. 5, 2014 at her residence.  

Eva Margaret O’Bannon, 72, widow of James Samuel O’Bannon, died Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.  

Dorothy Rhea King Murphy, 94, widow of J.C. Murphy, died Thursday, Sept. 25, 2014 at Sayre Christian Village. 

Bessie A. Lyons, of Harrodsburg, widow of Jess C. Lyons, died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2014.

Irma Jean Ison, 93, widow of James “Jim Buck” Ison, died Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2014 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.
