Frances Anness

 

Frances Wiley Anness, 92, widow of Henry Anness, died Monday, June 29, 2026, at Hartland Park Health and Rehabilitation in Lexington.

Born Feb. 15, 1934, in Danville, she was the daughter of the late Herbert Childers and Minnie Jane Dean Wiley.

She was a retired Palm Beach supervisor and a member of Immanual Baptist Church and attended Harrodsburg Methodist Church.

Survivors include: one daughter,  Connie (Douglas) Chambers Edwards of Lexington; one brother,  Harry (Jane) Wiley of Harrodsburg; one sister,  Norma Jean Wiley Lester of Harrodsburg; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one daughter,  Gail Lee Chambers Brown; one brother, Donald Wiley and one sister,  Lucille Wiley Coy.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, July 6, at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home, Inc. and Cremation Services with Andy Mikels officiating.  Burial will be in the Ebenezer Church of Christ Cemetery.

Visitation 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
