Downtown Harrodsburg’s Summer Shuffle returns for its second year on Saturday, June 27. The Harrodsburg-Mercer County Tourist Commission invites residents and visitors to explore participating downtown restaurants, breweries, bars and businesses while enjoying live music, special food and drink offerings, shopping and summer fun. Visit six of the 10 participating locations to be entered into a giveaway for a gift basket valued at over $500.

While everyone is encouraged to grab a drink or a bite to eat at the locations, participants must only visit the locations and get their cards punched to be eligible for the gift basket. The first 10 paying customers at each location will receive a free commemorative item from the event. There will be drink and/or food specials at each location and live music at select locations. Central Kentucky Tours is offering transportation to different locations. Must be 21 years or older to participate. Participating locations include Blackbird Bakery and Cafe, LaFonda Mexican Restaurant, Lemons Mill Brewery, Old Owl Tavern and Owl’s Nest at Beaumont Inn, Olde Bus Station Restaurant, Ollie’s Sammich Wagon, Papa Smoke Pizza, Sitbe Cider, the Local and the Vault—Harrodsburg.

Independence Day fireworks starts Sunday, June 28, with the Family Firework Fellowshop at Devine’s Farm which starts at 7 p.m. The annual fireworks show at Anderson-Dean Community Park happen Friday, July 3, with the red, white and blam scheduled to start at dusk.
