Chris Caton Leaving A Legacy At Titans Baseball

Mercer Coach Chris Caton capped off a 12 year career with the Titans baseball program, helping players on and off the field.

Coach Chris Caton is hanging it up after 12 seasons with the Mercer County Titans baseball program. Coach Caton spent five years as the middle school head coach and another seven on the Titans’ high school staff. His impact went beyond wins and losses as he helped shape not only better athletes but better people.
Caton was part of four 46th District Championships (2021, 2022, 2023 and 2026) and the team had a record of 131-84 while he was on staff. Current Titans Head Coach Cody Christopher credits Caton for being a big reason he took over as head coach of the program and the success he had at the middle school level laid the foundation.
